7/28 update

Today we were notified of 6 new positive cases of novel coronavirus.  These positives are from the group of samples that were delayed at the reference laboratories from dates 7/7-7/13.  We did not receive any negatives from this group.  We have been told that we have several negatives results from this group, but negatives have not been reported.  We are not comfortable announcing negatives until we see the lab reports.  It is impossible to determine exposure for these individuals, this far out. 

  • A symptomatic man in his 50s
  • A symptomatic man in his 50s who is considered recovered
  • A symptomatic man in his 30s who is considered recovered
  • A symptomatic women under 19
  • A symptomatic man in his 60s
  • An asymptomatic women in her 60s

If you are experiencing symptoms and waiting on a test from 7/1 – 7/17, please reschedule a test.

-        Deceased: 2
Total hospitalizations: 6
-        Current hospitalizations: 1

7/9 update

Lincoln County Health Department was notified of an additional case this morning. This individual is an asymptomatic male in his 50s. Contact investigation is ongoing. We are also still investigating a possible cluster in Libby. Currently, we have five active cases in Lincoln County and 12 cases total.   Remember, we are specifically concerned about individuals that were within 6 feet for more than 15 minutes of an individual who has tested positive for coronavirus.   We will be hosting a Facebook live event tomorrow at noon. Please tune in for information and an opportunity to ask questions.   We are still notifying contacts.
