7/27 update

Lincoln County reports 1 death and 2 additional cases

Unfortunately, late on Sunday, July 26, 2020, Lincoln County Health Department received report of a COVID-19 related death in Lincoln County, a male in his 80s.  Additionally, on Monday, we received reports of two additional cases of novel coronavirus. 

  • A symptomatic man in his 40s with unknown exposure.
  • A symptomatic woman in her 50s who is hospitalized with unknown exposure.

Contact investigation is ongoing. 

Total cases: 57

  • Active cases: 17
  • Recovered: 38
  • Deceased: 2

Total hospitalization: 6

  • Current hospitalization: 1

7/9 update

Lincoln County Health Department was notified of an additional case this morning. This individual is an asymptomatic male in his 50s. Contact investigation is ongoing. We are also still investigating a possible cluster in Libby. Currently, we have five active cases in Lincoln County and 12 cases total.   Remember, we are specifically concerned about individuals that were within 6 feet for more than 15 minutes of an individual who has tested positive for coronavirus.   We will be hosting a Facebook live event tomorrow at noon. Please tune in for information and an opportunity to ask questions.   We are still notifying contacts.
