12/4 update:   Eleven additional cases today.   Total cases: 837 Active cases: 168 Recovered: 660 Deaths: 9   Hospitalizations: 29 Current hospitalizations: 2   Quarantine update :   The CDC has updated their guidelines for quarantine of close contacts of individuals with COVID-19.  The following will be our updated policy.  Keep in mind that the incubation period for COVID is still 2 – 14 days and people can still develop symptoms later in that time period.  We will be asking close contacts to monitor their symptoms for the full 14 days regardless of their quarantine period.  The options for reducing quarantine time for close contacts are as follows:   Quarantine can end after Day 7 (on Day 8) if the close contact has a negative result from a sample collected on Day 5 or later and if no symptoms were experienced during daily monitoring. Quarantine cannot be discontinued earlier than Day 8. Quarantine can end after Day 10 (on Day 11)

10/5 update:   We have cases all over the county and continue to see active cases throughout the county. Many people would like us to break down North Lincoln County. At this time we will not be doing that. There are still too few cases in some towns and it would be irresponsible to classify any towns as 'safe'. Also consider the amount cross over there is among the towns and with Eureka, Flathead and other areas.   We are experiencing community transmission in Lincoln County and specifically Libby. However, we have had cases in other areas of Lincoln County that have had unknown exposure.
