10/1 update

Three additional cases today.   

  • A symptomatic female in her 40s with unknown exposure
  • A symptomatic female in her 20s with contact to a known positive
  • A symptomatic female in her 30s with unknown exposure

Unfortunately, another death has been reported.  This individual tested positive for the novel coronavirus and had other complications.  We will not be reporting this death as COVID related until we can complete the investigation on the cause of death.

7/9 update

Lincoln County Health Department was notified of an additional case this morning. This individual is an asymptomatic male in his 50s. Contact investigation is ongoing. We are also still investigating a possible cluster in Libby. Currently, we have five active cases in Lincoln County and 12 cases total.   Remember, we are specifically concerned about individuals that were within 6 feet for more than 15 minutes of an individual who has tested positive for coronavirus.   We will be hosting a Facebook live event tomorrow at noon. Please tune in for information and an opportunity to ask questions.   We are still notifying contacts.
