12/4 update

12/4 update:   Eleven additional cases today.   Total cases: 837 Active cases: 168 Recovered: 660 Deaths: 9   Hospitalizations: 29 Current hospitalizations: 2   Quarantine update :   The CDC has updated their guidelines for quarantine of close contacts of individuals with COVID-19.  The following will be our updated policy.  Keep in mind that the incubation period for COVID is still 2 – 14 days and people can still develop symptoms later in that time period.  We will be asking close contacts to monitor their symptoms for the full 14 days regardless of their quarantine period.  The options for reducing quarantine time for close contacts are as follows:   Quarantine can end after Day 7 (on Day 8) if the close contact has a negative result from a sample collected on Day 5 or later and if no symptoms were experienced during daily monitoring. 10/29 update:   Six additional cases today: A symptomatic female in her 60s with unknown exposure A symptomatic male in his 30s with contact to a known positive A female in her 50s A female under 19 with unknown exposure A symptomatic male in his 30s with unknown exposure A male in his 40s   Unfortunately, we have experienced an additional death in Lincoln County due to COVID.    Total cases: 315 Active cases: 60 Recovered: 251 Deaths: 4   Hospitalizations: 20 Current hospitalizations: 3
